Student AI Club
GAIA's Student AI Club works in partnership with Ilia State University and with the support of TBC and unites students interested in AI research from various universities in Georgia.
About the club
What is a student club?
In the Artificial Intelligence Student Club, students from Georgian universities interested in AI research work together with curators on scientific papers. At the same time, leading AI professionals share their knowledge and experience with them.
What is the goal of the student club?
The club's goal is to develop students' research skills in the fields of AI and data science and prepare them for careers. Supporting the development of a new generation of professionals in these areas is one of GAIA's top priorities.
What does the club offer to students?
- Work with leading AI researchers on exciting and promising AI-related topics
- Developing research skills
- Sending the best papers to international conferences/expos, participating in the best team conference
- Connecting with potential employers

How will the student club work?
In the club, participants will be divided into teams and will work on one specific research topic/project with a research supervisor.
The club will meet weekly and discuss interesting materials related to the topic, the team's progress, and plans.
Teams must prepare a scientific paper/article that will be sent to international conferences/expos. Before the end of the club, the team with the best paper will be identified and will travel to the scientific conference/expo.
The indicative research topics/projects will be announced in advance, and their final selection and distribution will take place after the club is staffed.
Who is the student club for?
The club is open to third- and fourth-year and master's degree students of Georgian universities, as well as recent graduates who are interested in AI research.
