Programmes and initiatives
GAIA has three working directions - Knowledge Sharing, Awareness Raising and Advocacy; Support of Businesses and Startups and Development of Georgian Artificial Intelligence.
AI Education in Georgia's Schools
GAIA aims for every student in Georgia to acquire basic AI skills at school and learn to use AI correctly, safely and effectively.
AI Olympiad and Olympiad Course
In 2025, Georgia first presented a national student team at the International Olympiad in AI.
Crossroad AI Conference
Crossroad AI is the association's main international conference, bringing together leading AI professionals from Georgia and around the world.
Student AI Club
In the AI Student Club, students from Georgian universities interested in AI research work together with curators on research projects.
GAIA Meetups
Monthly meetups for sharing experience and networking, for AI professionals and for a wider audience.
Georgia AI Summit and Awards
The association's annual event to review its work and plans and honour people and organisations that have made significant contributions to AI development in Georgia.
National AI Hackathon
The National AI Hackathon is held annually, and its participants work on creating quality AI products tailored to the Georgian market and real business challenges.
